Koilos shutter fixing and cleaning.

Postby alexvaras » Sun Oct 28, 2018 2:44 pm

Hi all,

Here its something 100 years old at least, it has a Tessar SN#123452 from 1909/1910.
The shutter doesn't stay cocked.

Some photos here, all of them in flickr.

Alex, nice work on that shutter. The fact that such an old shutter can still work correctly after more than 100 years. It says a lot about the design, precision and choice of materials that went into the manufacturing process.

I like the way they coded the shutter blades with the little holes. Good job on the clean out, Alex.
