Well good news: the seller is sending another film holder, and said to hold on to the plate holder to boot. I don’t see shooting plates ANYTIME soon, as I develop in a daylight tank. But it does give me a 5x7 option!

Well, all you need is some cheap plastic trays and a dark-ish room. Remember a) how slow they are, and b) sensitive to only UV and blue light. Develop by inspection under a red or amber light, develop at night, you can do it most anywhere. Just beware of bright LED indicator lights...
