Konica I Rangefinder - First Roll...

Postby scott » Sun Nov 06, 2016 9:33 pm

Hi all -

FInally finished the test roll in the Konica project cam. Last week walked around Villanova with my son; today walked around Birdsboro with my son. Quite the contrast. A few from the roll, both locales:

I need to get used to shooting in 35mm again, but the camera is a true joy to use. I think it's a keeper, the scanner came through, and water spots aside, I'm very pleased with the results. Next is finding a case for it and start trolling for shooting opportunities.

Thanks for looking.

Excellent results, and glad to see you in the small format! That seems a real camera, very sharp lens. Well done!

Water spots may be avoided if you do a couple of rinses with distilled water, last thing before hanging the roll to dry.

Definitely the right combination of camera, film, and development, Scott. And good subject matter too.

Thanks Julio. I'm actually enjoying 135 right now. I actually went out to buy distilled water before developing this roll, and our local grocery (which is horrible) was actually out of it. How does a grocery store run out of distilled water? Anyway, I knocked my dust problem on this roll, so that's good.

Thanks PF! I like the FP4+ in Adonal. Need to buy more developer. This is old, and has significant crystallization going on.
