Photobucket files mis-linked

Postby PFMcFarland » Mon Apr 25, 2016 9:15 pm

Just noticed that anything posted from Photobucket now shows as being mis-linked.

I looked at those files on Photobucket, and I couldn't get those photos to load on the Photobucket site.

The [IMG] tag is pretty simple. It simply instructs the browser to display the image that is located at the URL provided by the person who wrote the post.

This time, the forum software wasn't misbehaving.

Photobucket may be in trouble - there seems to be a sense of panic about their marketing lately.

I hope Photobucket survives - it's my main storage.

It seems that every few years, the photo storage sites seem to go through some kind of major crisis and then try to remake themselves, adding or removing features and sometimes restoring favorite features that had been removed the previous time around.
