Nikon, this is all very nice and well (more of the same, give or take a few pixels and buttons), but I'm still waiting for you to release a FF mirrorless body which can accept AIS and AFS Nikkors as well (through an adapter ?)...
Or do I really have to buy a Sony Alpha 7II ?
BTW, an Olympus OMD or a Fuji X with FF sensor would also be great :-)

I was considering getting a D5500, but now with the D500, I can get a bigger body (for easier handling) with improved AF, and built-in 4K video. Of course, it's almost four times as expensive. But I want it anyway.

So do I. Had been thinking of getting a backup body to my D7100, and the D7200 looked like a good candidate for that. But at some point in the future I think the D500 will become the main body and the D7100 a backup body. Very handy when shooting sports, for which the D500 should be excellent.

Do I really need a camera that can go to an ISO of 3.23 million? Exactly what am I shooting at that speed?
That's OK, I'll stick with my D610 and D5300; pretty much does what I need.

I feel like my D300s is still doing everything I need from it. Is it considered ancient now by most?
