pixl-latr Scanning Holder Kickstarter

Post by PFMcFarland » Wed Jun 27, 2018 10:20 pm

For those interested in scanning negatives with their digital cameras:

Looks like a very well thought out piece of equipment. Only 20 days left to sign on.

Thanks I will share this at ISF Scanner.

Cool project! I already have a great scanner for 35mm, but I could use this for MF instead of the flatbed Epson. Maybe venture into 4x5" now as well...

I really wish that someone would come out with a holder for 127 film.

I wish there was more choice for 127 film.

Shouldn't be too difficult to make or adapt a part for other formats. Great idea though. I remember seeing a project for a daylight developing tank as well, like a midern Rondinax. I'd like one of those.
And I am still waiting for the first commercially available films from Ferrania, but I am afraid that resurrection project is dying a silent death.

Well Bennybee. One thing that did come out of the Ferrania project is that they are starting full production of the P30 B&W film.

Hi Larry !
I gave up checking often on their website and fb page, since all they accomplished so far was a big test batch of P30 for their Kickstarter subscribers. Many of which got very impatient too BTW, asking when the rest would happen. I can understand that one can run into delays, but c'mon...
I always admired their project and had high hopes. If it were closer to where I live I would have offered to pitch in. Seriously! (of course I don't speak Italian, but I do like espresso).

I do understand. Even Kodak had trouble figuring out how to remake Ektachrome. Finding the chemicals and dyes was trouble even for them.
