Rapid Omega 200 Test

Postby PFMcFarland » Fri Oct 14, 2016 10:43 pm

I used to have one of these fifteen years ago, and have finally gotten a replacement.

Rapid Omega 200 with Super Omegon 1:3.5 90mm on Kodak Tri-X at 200 ISO.

As scary as it looks

These are really strong photos; they look like they come from a press camera and maybe that's what the Omega was-- I mean that the quality allows for all sorts of uses in a magazine or newspaper. As you describe the camera it must be fairly complicated, but you make it work very well. So just about the time that Japanese cameras were getting popular in USA, this US camera went in the other direction! Good story.
