World Pinhole Day is April 27

Just an FYI for those who shoot pinhole. I can't recall ever shooting a pinhole photo. Maybe I should convert one of my busted film bodies.

Re: Mystery box

Here we go: The case does, in fact, say Rolleiflex. http://elekm.net/oddpix/rollei_name.jpg The case was in good condition, considering its age. I did my usual work, which was to clean the case with saddle soap and then apply a fresh layer of black shoe polish and buff to a nice sheen. Some scoff at...

What's inside? Look at the case.

Stop by Friday, and I'll show everyone.

Re: My last roll of 110 film

I remember back in the early '70s when 110 film was hot. It seemed like everyone had one of these cameras. I guess they were popular with non-photographers because you could slip the camera into a purse or pocket and always have it with you. Of course, that negative was really small. I think Lomogra...

Scanner headaches

Moved to Windows 8 last year and then to Windows 8 64-bit. My trusty Epson Expression 1600 scanner was no longer supported. This scanner has been a major workhorse. I've scanned hundreds, maybe thousands of photos with the Epson. So I did an WinXP installation with a WMware virtual machine. The Epso...

Re: Robert Monaghan's huge MF website

This is the site that taught me how to get 120 film onto a 620 spool.

What happened to the original site?

Re: Komaflex-S

This has a fresnel screen with a ground glass spot in the middle. No grid lines. The image is reasonably bright, and I found it very easy to focus the camera. I scanned with my Epson Expression 1600. Years ago, I found a plastic 127 negative carrier. I think it originally was for 4x4 but enlarged it...

Komaflex-S

http://elekm.net/Prodigy/misc/komaflex_385.jpg I bought this about seven or eight years ago and found it to be a nice little camera. It takes VP 127 film, which is now being offered again. It's from the 1960s, and was made by Kowa Optical and unlike most of the company's other cameras, it didn't us...
