Re: Rolleicord Va

Looks quite right, Alex. What lens?

I have a Rolleicord V with the Xenar lens and like it a lot.

Re: Summer walks with an F2

Thanks PF! The F2 is not really that heavy or big,

Maybe my problem is that I grew up on a Zorki 3M and then a Pentax K-1000, which are way lighter and smaller.

Re: Summer walks with an F2

Thanks for the comments! Graham, I agree on the trade-off of toughness and weight; real pro cameras must be heavier than flimsy amateur instruments, especially with SLR types. Re: Voigtlander Perkeo 3x4

A fine classic and excellent portraits, Alex. IMHO 127 format got caught in the middle between 120 and 35mm. There are a few excellent 127 cameras (your Perkeo is one, there are a few Zeiss folders, and also the 4x4 TLRs by Yashica and Rollei in a quick list). I wish that 127 films were as available...

Now you are aiming for the light, Alex! that is the way to go IMHO! Beautiful reflections in that (almost?) frozen pond.

Re: Bessa-R check run

Nice results from your test. I once considered a Bessa L but then found a second IIIa, so there.
