Re: March 2019 Views

Your Yashica/ Color Plus combination did a good job with these views. Seems like I can see the steam rising from the pile? I really liked my G[something] Yashica till it put a scratch line on every frame for no findable reason. I still have two rangefinders (Canonet & HiMatic) so I can't complain to...

Re: Balcony Tomato Growing

Phil, your tomato patch looks good. Three varieties, too, so you'll probably get a long season of yields. Can't get more "locally grown" than your porch!

Re: Certo Super Sport Dolly.

That looks to be in great condition and well-featured. I think I've seen photos from that model posted somewhere. I'll be eager to see the photos you make with it.

Re: They followed me home.

Those Nikons look like they've found a good home. The one that looks familiar to me is the 2000, but maybe that's because it looks more like older Nikons. Good luck with them and I'll be looking for the photos soon.

Re: Micro 4/3rds digitals

I bought a Panasonic GX85 recently and it came just as our true winter arrived. So I can't say that I'm using it yet. I had one inside opportunity to use it in February. However, it was a family gathering and I wanted to be sure that I could handle the needed lighting of our building's party room so...

Julio, I enjoyed all of these fine photos. They seem to me to be very peaceful and calm.

Re: Super Isolette on the snow.

Good work with the snow! Your Isolette does a fine job. Is that the model with an uncoupled rangefinder? Isolettes seem to match up with the Ansco Speedex line in the USA; I used to have an Ansco Speedex Special with an uncoupled rangefinder. I think it still had a 3 element Apotar lens (rather than...

Re: Kodak Pony 135

Good work with that Pony, Larry! I saw a lot of Kodachrome slides out of a Pony that my cousin had in 1952 or so-- they were good. IIRC, the camera needed at least f/6.3 to make practical use of the Kodachrome of that day and the Pony snuck under that with f/4.5.

Fine b&w photos of interesting places! The perspectives add interest and impact. I'm glad that you found a way to post them and look forward to the digitals.
