I always use filters (usually yellow) when shooting outdoors to avoid blowing out the sky. Indoors I usually leave them off because filters cut out quite a bit of light.

We're slowly reopening here in Boston. We were hit pretty hard - over 8,000 dead in the state. But people here generally take this pandemic seriously, so the vast majority of people are wearing masks.

You could get a 645 folder like the Zenobia, Alex, a Japanese copy of the Zeiss Ikonta A (Ikomat 1) with a nicer finder. Easy to do portraiture with, and small enough to fit a jacket pocket. I really like the APS-C format as I don't see myself printing photos larger than 13x19 (current printer does 11x14, but not with much detail). I suppose that a Voigtlander Skopar from the mid-1930's might qualify as old. But the camera is being serviced, so I don't yet have an opinion.
