Re: Koilos shutter fixing and cleaning.

It’s a usual CCW thread.

It was a bit tight and the cocking lever was moving along so I had to put my thumb on it meanwhile I was using pliers to turn the rounded piece out.

Re: Koilos shutter fixing and cleaning.

Welcome to the forum!

I would say it’s screwed.
All these rounded parts with two holes are usually screwed.
Have you tried one drop of acetone and try again?
It’s late already here but tomorrow I should be able to take a look to my shutter, still with me that lens.

PS: no question is newbie.

Re: Repairing dents in the filter ring

I have one, it wont leave the lens as it was but it will allow you to insert the filter.

Just be sure the vise threads fits the lens ones not to spoil the lens threads by incorrect positioning.

Re: Weha Chrome-Six

I would say that’s a feature of the lens IMHO, good for portraits as others said.
My Lubi 166U and Pilot Super do vignettes in corners but I like the photos very much.

This last photo I like it very much, it really has character this lens.

Re: Keeping track of parts

Uhm... I disagree with the cookie sheet. You need something stable, I mean something that won't move if you accidentally bump the table and also you need a surface that is no slippery. I use cutting mats with a old yoga mat under so it doesn't move from the table, cutting mat is a flat surface and s...
