Re: Blurb book available

Thanks, Philip ... I couldn't ask for a better review than that. There are maybe a dozen among them that I think would stand out in any context, quite apart from them being taken at a ride, and this one you mention I have exhibited several times and will again this spring in a local art group exhibi...

Re: Homemade camera toys

Just out yesterday - The Homemade Camera Podcast, podcast E44 ... Tbh, the three of us didn't stick to just cameras but went over fabrication and sculpting issues as well. If I do another I'll have to spend a bit of time on adapting roll-film-backs. http://homemadecamera.com/e44-sandeha-lynch/?fbcli...

Re: Blurb book available

You'd be very welcome, Alex. Everything is organised via a Facebook page, and you'll probably find links there to all the other rides in the UK as well.

Blurb book available

Just to let you know that I have put together a Blurb book of photos taken with film over a seven year period, As Bare As You Dare, covering the preparations for the annual World Naked Bike Ride in Cardiff, Wales, UK. 100+ pages, with a couple of short introductory texts. https://www.blurb.co.uk/b/9...

Re: Homemade camera toys

The knobs are made up of machine nuts and bolts and a judicious selection of brass tubing sizes I picked up from a craft shop. With lashings of Araldite Metal they've held together very well. :D

Re: NelsonFoto dot Com: Update

I paid the bill, however - and it's a big HOWEVER. The ongoing costs for the site are not what any of us would be willing to pay. The database for the forums somehow has grown to 4GB. Craig's contract was for 500MB. The monthly overage charge comes to $358.07. This amount would be due every month. ...

Re: NelsonFoto dot Com

Digging around there was a thread that I just had to save for the future, and it looks like the future is already here, so ... Once upon a time, when a number of (highly) original folks were fooling around, this comedic piece formed itself. It was August 2005 when things had barely gotten started .....
