Fujifilm doesn’t stand still when it comes to its X-series of mirrorless cameras. In addition to news lenses, the company also has released another body.

In this case, it’s the Fujifilm X-T30, which is the body that uses SLR-like styling.

The X-T30 uses a 26.1-MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor that lacks a low-pass filter. Fujifilm says the camera uses the new X-Processor 4 Quad Core CPU, which helps the face-detection system for both stills and video.

The Fujinon f/2.8 XF16mm R WR fits all X-series bodies that use the APS-C sensor. It is a 24mm full-frame equivalent.

At just 5.5 ounces (155 grams), this lens uses a mix of metal and composite materials. Fujifilm says the barrel is made of metal and seals the lens in nine locations to protect it from dust and moisture.

Coinciding with the announcement of the X-T20 is a new f/2.0 50mm lens.

It was nearly five years ago in 2011 that Fujifilm reinvigorated its digital camera lineup with the X100.

What made the X100 so popular was its retro styling and a rangefinder style optical-electronic viewfinder that the camera-buying public loved.

Up to that point, Fujiflm had produced quite a few digital point and shoots and several DSLRs that were based on Nikon bodies fittied with a Fujifilm sensor.
