If the Fujifilm Finepix XP130 seems familiar, it’s because we’ve seen this camera before when it was known as the Fujifilm Finepix XP120.

Feature for feature, the small point and shoot Finepix XP130 is nearly identical to the Finepix XP120, with a few new items on its list. Among them is Bluetooth connectivity, which allows the Finepix XP130 to share images with your phone or smart device.

The rugged camera segment is one of the few bright spots for digital point and shoots, and Nikon and Ricoh have announced new models.

The Nikon Coolpix W300 replaces the AW130, while the Ricoh WG-50 succeeds the WG-40.

Both cameras are taking the approach of other manufacturers by not upping the pixel count and instead improving the image through other means.

Outdoors enthusiasts also like to take photos. If you don’t believe it, look at the number of cameras that are available.

While some other camera makers give them names that hint at that market segment, Fujifilm has kept with its FinePix monikor.

The Fujifilm FinePix XP120 lacks the rugged look that other camera makers provide, such as rubberized exteriors, but the specs show that this camera should be able to handle most things that come its way.
