Fujifilm X RAW Studio

Fujifilm is launching a new software package for photographers who shoot RAW images with certain X-series cameras.

Fujifilm X RAW Studio, which is available now for the Mac platform and for Windows in February 2018, is somewhat unique in that it uses the camera’s image processing engine to do the work, rather than the computer’s CPU.

Fujifilm says that this will benefit photographers who might not have the fastest computer.

Hasselblad Phocus 3.0

Hasselblad has updated its Phocus image-processing software.

Hasselblad said it overhauled the user interface to make it cleaner and more intuitive. There are some new software tools in Phocus.

In addition to recognizing Hasselblad’s RAW files, including those from its latest H6D 100-MP medium-format digital camera, Phocus also can work on RAW files from more than 200 other digital cameras.

You can tether and control Hasselblad's digital cameras through Phocus.
