Mirrorless Rumors is showing images (and specifications) of the upcoming Panasonic G80, which is expected to be unveiled soon, possibly at Photokina 2016. The new camera allegedly will have a 16.0-MP Live MOS sensor without a low-pass filter, variable anti-shake technology, a dust- and water-proof magnesium body, 4K video, an articulating 3.0-inch LCD and can shoot up to nine frames per second.

Tokina is calling the new line "FiRIN," and hopefully the company will explain the meaning of the word and the reason for putting three capital letters at the end.

43 Rumors reports that Olympus will announce two f/1.2 prime lenses before the end of the year. The pair will be half of the four lenses that the site says will be announced. According to the site, the lenses are f/4.0 12-100mm, f/1.2 25 mm, f/3.5 30mm macro and an unknown f/1.2 optic.

In the world of rumors, anything goes, as evidenced by a Canon Rumors post that claims Canon will announce a new body for its mirrorless M system. That contradicts a rumor posted by Mirrorless Rumors that said there would be no such product announcement. Canon Rumors says the new body will be called “M5,” will have an APS-C sensor, will be announced late 2016 and could be accompanied by a new 18-55mm kit lens. The new body will look like the previous bodies.
