Sources have told Canon Rumors that the upcoming Canon EOS 6D Mark II won’t be released until at least spring of 2017, which is later than what earlier rumors claimed. The same source told the site the new camera will be smaller, have dual SD card slots and a 25-MP sensor.

Canon Rumors says that a EF 200-600mm zoom could be announced when the camera maker unveils its EOS 6D Mark III. The site said a “source” told it the lens will not be a higher-end “L” lens but would be on par with similar lenses from Tamron and Sigma. A February 2017 announcement is possible.

Sony Alpha Rumors says Sony might announced a new lens in October – an f/2.8 100mm STF (Smooth Trans Focus) lens. An STF lens uses a special element to change the look of unfocused parts of a scene without affecting what is in focus. That is, it’s a “bokeh” element.
