Lomography's 15mm Naiad lens for its Neptune Convertible Art Lens system

Before the first lens has rolled off of the production line, Lomography already has added to the Neptune Convertible Art Lens System.

Based on feedback from users, Lomography says it is adding a fourth lens – the 15mm Naiad, which will be available as an option. The other three lenses are 35, 50 and 85mm. All of the lenses connect to a single base for Canon EF, Nikon F and eventually Pentax K mounts. Each of the bases can be adapted to a mirrorless camera with the appropriate mount adapter.

Note that the lens base has three lens elements.

The 15mm lens is still under development. At the time of this article, it will have eight elements and a maximum aperture of f/3.8. It will be able to accept 82mm filters. Lomography warns that any of these specifications could change as it nears production.

The 15mm Naiad is available for an additional $250 on new and existing pledges through Kickstarter. Lomography says this is a 45% discount off the eventual expected selling price.
