For those interested in the upcoming Fujifilm GFX digital medium-format camera, Fujifilm has created a microsite (http://fujifilm-x.com/en/gfx/) for the system.
The Fujifilm GFX 50S will use a 51.4-MP G Format CMOS sensor that is 43.8 x 32.9mm. The photographer will be able to switch to different aspect ratios, including a panoramic 6:17. It is a mirrorless camera.
The sites provides more information, including photos and a release schedule for the body and its lenses. Fujifilm also offers some background information, including showing its history in medium-format film cameras.
There are several videos that show the early prototype in use, as well as a few sample photographs taken with the GFX.
Those who want to know more can download Fujifilm's four-age brochure (downloadable here – Oct. 14, 2016), which replicates some of the information on the site, except for the videos.
The base kit is expected to be go on sale in early 2017.
